I was worried the mikado fabric might feel stiff, but it’s surprisingly comfortable and the lace appliqués lie perfectly against the skin. The detachable train made it easy to switch from ceremony to reception without losing the dramatic look.

I was nervous about the detachable train being fussy, but it clipped on securely and transformed the whole look for the reception. The mikado fabric feels substantial and held its shape beautifully all night.
