I was nervous a strapless gown would be uncomfortable, but the Chantilly lace is so soft against my skin. The floral appliqués in pastel hues are even prettier in person.

The tulle is so light I almost forgot I had it on, but the strapless bodice stayed firmly in place all evening. Every turn caught the light differently on those pastel appliques, and the Chantilly lace felt genuinely luxurious against my skin.

The floral appliques lie flat against the lace instead of bunching up, which makes the bodice look far more expensive than it was. Strapless usually means constant tugging, but this ballgown stayed perfectly in place through an entire evening of dancing.
